BTicino, the first Italian manufacturer to create modern design for wiring devices, started its activities in Thailand in the seventies. Results came immediately and the outcome in the first few years was that Bticino became market leader. This success brought BTicino in the early nineties to set up a local manufacturing plant, in order to better follow the Thai market in terms of costs, logistics and services.
Our factory in Bang Na has given a double side opportunity. On one side our Thai employees have the chance to work and get know how on top level technologies, such as laser machines for labeling and printing or injection machines of the last generation (also features robot operations). On the other side we benefit from their skills and methods that stand out especially regarding quality control standards. As a result of this combination of quality and technology, the Thai factory is also able to export its finished products to Indonesia, Laos, Philippines and Vietnam, on top of this also to Latin America (Mexico, Chile and Venezuela) and Middle East.
